Long Beach Comic Expo 2010

Last weekend I went to the Long Beach Comic Expo 2010. Back in October Long Beach had it's very first Long Beach Comic Book Convention. I went and it was a lot of fun. The expo wasn't as exciting, but still a neat thing to do all day for $10 bucks entry and $10 bucks parking. Lots of good deals and such a great opportunity to talk with some talented artists who wouldn't have as much time in a different convention setting. Bowerbirds - Northern Lights

Bowerbirds. I am just so glad I can actually say I have seen them play live and have said hello to them. Awesome live and worth seeing. Video is very nice.

Time vs Want

Haven't updated anything on this blog for the last few days. I'm OK. Just trying to manage my time a little better so when I add more all works better.

Been using Windows Live Writer. Works fine except I noticed that when I embed videos through it instead of directly from Blogger, it won't play in FeedDemon or my GoogleReader account unless I click the link and see it direct at YouTube.

Reliving the 90’s Ep2 – Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U”

Back when the original song came out. I really didn’t care. Music of this sort meant nothing to me. A few years back, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes made a punk cover to this song and I was hooked. Simple lyrics written by Prince.

The cover done for the new Reliving the 90’s YouTube channel is very impressive. Sounds a little more alt-country, but I think the emotion needed is still felt. Here’s the video:
