Jenny Owen Youngs : If I Didn’t Know
I’ve been liking this song a lot. Starting a sentence with “If I didn’t know” can lead to a lot of things to ponder.

Superman flying by AmericanNinjaX on deviantART
I’ve been following and checking out this guy’s work on the DA. He made good drawing even better with the anime lines flickering to give the effect of flying.

Lightspeed Champion covers Elvis
The 8th of January would’ve been Elvis’ 75th birthday. Lightspeed Champion did an awesome cover of Devil In Disguise.

a little supergirl sketch
Thought this was very nicely done. So simple, and in a good way. From buffalog. The page and more artwork from this great artist can be found here:

Kings Of Convenience - Boat Behind
I don’t believe I ever have heard music by the Kings Of Convenience. I came across this video from a link from one of the many music blogs I frequent (I look at so many I have no clue where I found the link). This is a very nice video and it seems to go very well with the song. Here are some of the lyrics:
“Winter and spring (Winter and spring)
Summer and fall(Summer and fall)
You're the wind surfer crossing the ocean
on the boat behind
Skiffle and ride (Skiffle and ride)
shuffle and walk (shuffle and walk)
You're the up tip toe ballerina
In the chorus line”
I hope to hear and know more about this Norwegian band. Their video:
Turns out it can’t be properly embedded. Here is the link to it:

OK Go - This Too Shall Pass
This was a fun video to watch. It must be hard for OK Go to not make an attempt to overdo the famous video they made. This one holds up on it’s own and I like it. I think that’s what matters at least.

Follow Me stockings
Matisyahu Datrotter Session
The description and info given on the site says it all. My opinions are as follows:
It's nice to hear this guy again.
Nice to hear live recordings. I feel those really show the heart of a song and if the artist truely can express his songs well.
Worth giving a listen.

What's going on
OK. So now I have a Posterous account and it has a nifty little feature that let's you autopost anything on there and then elsewhere including my Blogger blog. Will be trying this out and see how it feels. Goal at this point is just to be a little more constant with my updates and such.

Honeybee by Jess Delgado & Alyssa Bernal
It’s been a while since I have seen a new Youtube video from Jess Delgado. Jess Delgado’s singing sounds a lot like Norah Jones, she even kind of looks like her. I hope in the long run this is an advantage. Here is the video:

Lauren O’Connell – Oncoming Traffic
One of the things I like about having an RSS reader to view new videos on YouTube is I get to see them when I want and this I finally got to seeing. Originally I started like most, following videos that Julia Nunes had posted and occasionally seeing this artist join in on the fun. Yet somehow it always has seemed that Lauren is a little more serious when it comes to her craft and ability as a songsmith. Here is the latest video she posted on YouTube for her song Oncoming Traffic, which I’m sure you can get on iTunes, but recommend getting from emusic, since I like emusic.
Link to album on emusic is here: Lauren O'Connell - The Shakes on emusic
Skhizein by Jeremy Clapin
Just finished watching this short film. And WOW!!! Just WOW!!! Just basing the story and the way a gravitational issue is allegorical, is just incredible well crafted in this short french film. Fortunately it has subtitles, but in any case, just WOW!!! Completely blown away.

It is now 2010
So, the new year has started. Hate going through the discomfort of having to correct t
he year when writing the date. Nevertheless I do look forward to this year and hoping all moves forward. No need to dwell on 2009’s shortcomings, just take note of it.
I found this video. Seems to be viral right now because it has to do with “the new year”. It sounds good and uplifting. Can’t help but share it as well.
