Just Wondering
What else can this type of blog really be used for? I’m thinking I might just start writing some random thoughts, seeing how they post and then seeing if this drives any traffic to my site. Since I have some commercial stuff, maybe it will actually get some compensation. End of TEST.

Untitled Test
This is just another test to see if anything else has changed.
If I can actually find an effective way to use this website. Now that would just be something awesome.

Long Beach Comic Con
Went to the first ever Long Beach Comic Book convention in Long Beach CA this weekend. Was pretty good. True, a little dissapointing, but I think it's because I just had the San Diego Comic Con to compare it to. And that has a lot more of everything.
I liked it. Met some celebrities. Saw some neat stuff. Even saw a band play afterward. Worth the trip.
All for now

Batman Streets of Gotham#6 - Cover
OK. So I guess for now, I'm just going to add whatever to what I find and add here. Here is the link on DeviantArt's site for Dustin Nguyen's stuff and this picture:

And here it is embedded I hope:

So obviously, I've really been into this guys artwork. Something about the linework and the time it must've taken to create this cover. It is just awesome.
I've met Dustin at a Comic Con last year. Guy is nice and really talented. Check it out and the rest of his work too.

Yeah... It really has been a while
OK. It's true. I have not updated this blog for some time. There are many reasons, here are just a few:
Distractions: Yup, seems being online and blogging is not all I do with my free time. I do other things like reading, drawing, attempting to play guitar (going on ten years) and most of all making an effort to actually relax.
Other social online hobbies: I've been using a twitter account and a facebook account. Seems my friends don't really care to go on to a blog I have for videos and stuff. So I share what I share on Facebook with people who have friended me. And with my Twitter account any random thing I find, I put a link or a thought. I don't mind having followers on that account:
http://twitter.com/whoismistere
Work: Or lack. Most of my previous free time was during breaks at work where I was pretty much all of the time in front of a PC. Since I was laid off awhile back... haven't been in front of the PC just to twiddle my fingers and do whatever.
Misc: As mentioned, there are always other things to do than to always be online. Don't what else to put, but I'm sure I do things that also fall in this category.
So I guess at this point, the question for me is... Should I continue to blog and add things or just abandon the blog just like many others? I tried to add my Blog to my Facebook, but that just came out very nastily. Maybe in the future.
All for now. I hope to add something soon.

M. Ward - Rave On (Featuring Zooey Deschanel)
I remember when I discovered there were a lot more songs sung by Buddy Holly than what I would hear on the radio. I was surprised to find that almost all of his songs were great and sad since there was not much play than the standard hits on the radio. Here is a cover from M Ward's newest album Hold Time. Instead of just performing a straight cover, M Ward has slowed it down a bit a left his flavor on it. Its a very nice cover. The video is animated, which I of course like. Here it is:

Black Joe Lewis
So it wasn't long ago that I came across Black Joe Lewis. The guy just sounds awesome. A little bit of that James Brown type of music that just makes you really wonder, why doesn't anyone really play like this anymore. Anyway, here is their latest video thanks to MKOB for it:

NEW iPhod Shuffle
Just read about this here:
http://www.itechnews.net/2009/03/11/apples-new-ipod-shuffle-talks-to-you/
I really don't care for voice control navigation or anything on an MP3 player. I don't care for Apple, but the pricing on a new product with new technology really is something to note.

New UP! trailer
So I just saw this brand new trailer for UP! To me it looks like it should be good and it's really no surprise since the people at Pixar really do seem to make an effort in not just producing a beautifully animated product, but actually one of actual and decent quality. In any case, despite whatever my opinions are, I think that the trailer speaks for itself.

just came across this video from everlast...
just came across this video from everlast where he does a cover of johnny cash's folsom prison blues. not the most terrible cover of this song, but it leads me to at least think in my opinion tht it really wasn't worth it. he really didn't bring anything new or super interesting to the song. i always like covers where there is a homage and indeed this one had a lot of homages, but it still didn't own the song. anyway, here it its.

Nothing To Worrry About - Peter Bjorn & John
This new video from Peter Bjorn and John is really bizarre and neat at the same time. Weird to see a bunch of asian rockabilly guys dancing to this stuff. Thought the leap frogging was an odd addition to their moves. Worth checking out and the song is pretty good too.

Afterwards (An Original by Danielle Ate the Sandwich)
Not too much to write on this. I've been checking out Danielle Ate the Sandwich's Youtube channel for a couple of weeks. Most of the videos have a similar quirkiness to add on to her type of music. I don't know if it's just her glasses or her style of music as well, but she really reminds me a lot of Lisa Loeb. Anyway, enjoy.

New Peasant Video - "We're Good"
I'm not too familiar with Peasant. Heard a few songs and its true as they say on Stereogum. He does have some Elliott Smittlike qualities in his sound. Anyway, here is the video for this. Weird deal, they're in the woods and there is a bear between them.

Don't Think Twice, It's Alright (by Bob Dylan)
I am not to familiar with the song It's Alright by Bob Dylan. I heard a few times, but I still feel this is a really good cover. Seems to hit the right spot especially with a uke.

School Of Seven Bells video for Half Asleep
So I've only heard one song by School Of Seven Bells so far. It's not too bad. Song is called Half Asleep and it really does have that sleepy type feeling. Sounds a lot like a nice comfortable pillow fresh for your head to rest. Here is the video, found at Stereohum.
